IMPACT at Royal Derby Hospital

On Tuesday and Wednesday this week I was lucky to be able to attend the third IMPACT course this month since national face to face, and essential medical training, commenced after the first wave of COVID.

A highly successful course, with amazing candidates and feedback.  And very committed course directors.  Thank you Lindsay and Gareth.

We were honoured to have the Royal College of Physicians of London President, Prof Bod Goddard join us on the course to see what IMPACT is about, mingling around our assessment stations and our Difficult Decisions Workshop.

Prof Jackie Taylor, President of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow joined me remotely in the morning to lend her support as Derby was the third of our courses in three weeks.

I am grateful to both college presidents for seeing what IMPACT can achieve during such COVID times.
